Of course, the weather had other plans. The skies opened up the day of their shoot, and with their wedding fast approaching, rescheduling wasn’t an option. Determined to still give them the experience they deserved, I quickly scouted for a creative alternative—and stumbled upon a chic downtown studio apartment available for hourly rental. It had great light, unique textures, and the kind of editorial backdrop that worked so well with their vibe.

Truthfully, I’m glad we arrived at the rental at the same time, because navigating those dimly lit hallways solo? Not for the faint of heart. But the moment we stepped inside, the energy shifted. It instantly felt like the right space.

Alexis & Robert are total sneakerheads and love incorporating high-end details into their style—so of course, we had to work in their signature: a bold red sole moment. A&R brought the luxury in a way that was effortlessly cool. From shoes to styling to the way they interact, everything about them feels curated and deeply authentic.
