When my couples initially inquire with me, one of my favorite parts of the process is learning about my people. I ask a couple of questions & I know by the next response if we are going to be the perfect couple/photog match made in heaven. Most of the time, my brides are the ones who answer the questions I ask. This particular time, both Keri AND Chad answered my questions. I loved reading their responses so I’ll drop one below…
Question: What are you passionate about?
Chad: “I think I would have to say that something I am most passionate about is the outdoors. I’m talking huntin’ and fishin’ and spending this time with the people that mean the most to you in life. I’m not just talking about the kill or the catch, it’s the journey, lessons learned, and competitiveness that makes it so fun! Growing up, we spend LOTS of time in the woods and on the water. Something I am very grateful for today from my parents. My dad drug me on the boat or to the blind as young as I can even remember. And now I am able to share my love for the outdoors with my two favorite people, Keri and Hank! God sure did bless me when he crossed our paths in life. And now we have plenty of these new experiences to share together.”
Keri: “When you asked me this question, I told Chad that I have nothing that I am really passionate about and just got kind of flustered with the question and myself. Chad had to remind me that I am passionate about so many things that he see with his own eyes. Then, I started to realize you know what you are right. I am most passionate family, friends, traveling! But the one thing I am most passionate about is our son Hank (5). He truly is my world and my best friend.. well and of course Chad he is my best friend too but Hank was my best friend first.”
You see this answer above? I love how uplifting Chad is to Keri. A simple question being asked had Chad remind her of everything she is passionate about in her life. Sometimes, it takes others seeing things in you for you to realize things about yourself.
I am so excited to be traveling to the Hard Rock Hotel in Los Cabos with these two next year. It’s going to be a party! For now, take a peek at their beautiful engagement session right here in our very own Victoria, Texas.
