Jordan & Amelia’s day was absolutely beautiful. From the beginning, Amelia has told me that her & Jordan both have very busy schedules but she has had a vision since she was a little girl of how she wanted her wedding to look. Let me tell you, her vision did not disappoint. The Venue on Church Street was transformed into a literal wonderland. Lovely, white drapes adorned the walls with table settings of beautiful, fluffy white flowers & soft purple uplighting. I told her she had an actual Pinterest wedding because it’s the gosh darn truth! You’ll see what I mean below! Secret Floral Garden went above & BEYOND for this perfect day.
All week we had been worried about the weather. The forecast was predicting rain for two weeks on their wedding day! Wouldn’t you know, it didn’t rain a drop! However, it was super cold! Jordan, Amelia & their wedding party braved the cold like champs! Gusts of wind would blow through & were so cold it would take the breath from you! After all is said & done, being cold is TOTALLY worth it! Their natural light photos are so dreamy & you would never know everyone was freezing their cuppies! Some people say they would rather be miserably hot than freezing cold. Which would you rather be? I’ve shot weddings in over 100 degree weather & weddings with wind chill in the single digits. I honestly don’t know what I would rather choose!
Jordan & Amelia make for the cutest pair. From Jordan’s one dimple to Amelia’s million dollar smile, they are adorable sweet. Jordan is such a gentlemen & watches her so lovingly. After Amelia’s bridal session, we had a long conversation about Jordan. The pair both work in the medical field & have to deal with situations at work that make them come home, be humbled & grateful that they have one another. She cried saying that she doesn’t care about the glitz & the glam of the wedding…at the end of the day, she just can’t wait to be Mrs. Flores. Well girl, ya did it! Ya’ll are officially MARRIED & your wedding was one for the books. Enjoy some of my favorite moments for your special day! Thank you for choosing me to document this journey in your life! Happy New Year! XOXO
