Rivera Wedding

As soon as we pulled up, you could smell the smell of rain.  Now, I absolutely LOVE that smell, but not so much on a wedding day.  We were greeted with happy smiles as Arianna & her gals relaxed during prep time.  As I shot details on the front porch, I could hear the thunder coming.  I was a bit nervous but I knew it would work out!  Everything always does!  Luckily, Arianna is the perfect JK bride who followed her bridal guide to a “T” & made sure her getting ready location AND ceremony location had a porch that allowed us to be covered even during the pouring rain.  WIN!

As the guys made their way over for their portraits, the rain started to come down.  It let up just enough for us to get a few portraits done & get the bride snuck out of the house to ceremony location.  Since our ceremony was indoors, there wasn’t much worry there.  After the ceremony & family formals were complete, we made our way outside for portraits & it was a down pour!  Rain was coming in sideways!  We were able to make the best use of our time under the porch & before you know it, the rain stopped & we were able to finish out wedding party & bride & groom portraits in front of the church.  So so happy!

Days like these remind me of how unplanned yet beautiful life can be.  There are sometimes storms but eventually, the sun comes out & dries up the rain.  Mike & Arianna made their vows to stand by each other side by side no matter how difficult it may be.  Witnessing the emotion from all of the family & friends symbolizes the joy & faith that everyone has in this marriage.  I am so excited to see Mike & Arianna’s life adventure together.  The bond they have together is undeniable!

I loved working with both of their sweet families.  They all made me feel so welcomed & appreciated!  Enjoy a few of my favorites from their gorgeous, downtown wedding!  XOXO
