Rosales Wedding

This last weekends wedding was seriously a blast.  Photographing Taryn & Matt was so, so easy!  They are fun loving & full of smiles.  They bounce their energy off of one another & share silly banter with each other all day.  Taryn has the best laugh & at one point I shouted I wanted to make it my ring tone.  Even though their demeanors are both playful, they both have love that runs deep for the other.  This was so evident as Taryn waited patiently to have her first look with Matt.  While they read their letters, shared their vows, made speeches & floated throughout their reception, their eyes were locked & the laughter never stopped flowing.

Speaking of first looks, this wedding is PROOF in the pudding that they save portraits!  All day Derrick & I were steadily checking the radar & the rain was coming. Thankfully, it kept getting pushed back & pushed back just long enough for us to quickly get our portrait time in.  Thank goodness we did!  During the middle of the ceremony it started pouring.  Big ol’ fat rain (in my best Bubba Gump voice) that was coming in sideways.  There is no way we could have our portraits after! I don’t think the rain stopped until we were well into the reception.  I am so thankful Matt & Taryn made the choice to have a first look…it really did save us!

I loved my time at the gorgeous Ashelynn Manor!  It provided souther charm & elegance both at the same time.  All of the people greeted us with smiles & made us so welcome on the property.  No matter where you look it’s a picture perfect view & we loved spending our day there!  I had the pleasure of hanging out here twice since Taryn did her bridal portraits here.  You know I am a sucker for those colonial pillars!  Swoon.

Taryn & Matt’s family were so generous throughout the day taking the time to check on us & make sure we had everything we needed.  As a surprise gift, Taryn had a monogramed cup made for me as a thank you gift with my name & camera on it.  My clients are so thoughtful!  And I have to give a shout out to Taryn’s maid of honor, Jessica….she HANDS DOWN get’s bridesmaid of the year award.  She was the go to girl all night & she even came in clutch for this blog post hunting down all of the vendors for the big day.  Taryn, you’ve got some big shoes to fill at her wedding next year!

Currently, our happy couple is off on their honeymoon in the Bahamas! I hope you are having the best time soaking up the sun & working on that tan!  Now, without wasting any more “thyme” enjoy your blog post of my favorites from your perfectly elegant & southern charmed wedding!  I loved working for you!  XOXO

I love how she is looking at him in this picture below!  So sweet!

When the last song of the night comes on & it’s N’SYNC…you know you gotta show out!  Boy betta step!
