A year ago, almost to the day, Mallorie reached out to me about being her & Robbie’s wedding photographer. Working with these two has been one of the most genuine & sweetest experiences! The pair met about 3 years ago while pledging at the same music fraternity. After Robbie graduated last year, at his graduation party he decided it was the perfect time to propose & Mallorie was completely shocked & so proud of her man for popping the question in front of everyone! In case you were wondering, she said yes. OBVI.
Their love of music tied into their wedding day! As everyone was waiting for the bride to walk down the isle, a familiar voice began singing. Mallorie had sang & recorded her own version of a song to walk down the isle to. It was so beautiful & incredibly thoughtful. I swear, her & Robbie are like a romance novel, no joke.
I am primarily a “Victorian” wedding photographer but I rarely stay in Victoria on the weekends to shoot! I was so excited that I would be spending the day in our lovely downtown areas. For the last year, I’ve driven by a house that was being remodeled, painted & spruced up. I noticed that it looked like renovations had been completed & I’ve been waiting for the day I can shoot in front of it! Saturday was that day & anyone who knows me knows that I have a love for magnolias like no other & this house is dripping in them! I am so grateful for couples like Robbie & Mallorie who trust me whole heartedly & let me do my job to the best of my ability! It was windy & rained on & off all day but they are both so carefree I don’t think much of anything could put a damper on things for them.
Robbie & Mallorie, thank you for being so effortless together & being the truest form of yourselves around one another. You two were made for each other & I am so glad to of been a part of your forever day! I hope you are having the best time on your honeymoon & that your luggage arrives soon! 🙂 Enjoy a few of my favs from our rainy day together! XOXO
That face you make when you see forever walking towards you…
This picture below CRACKS me up! Mallorie’s Dad looks like he’s reporting a severe tornado watch!
In the picture below Mallorie said “Okay, Robbie. Do what she taught us…lean & laugh!” LOL My #jkcouples are the BEST!
