As I grabbed my gear & walked out the door of my house to head to Lauren’s getting ready location, it was POURING. Not just regular rain, fat sideways rain. I immediately thought “oh gosh. It’s gonna be a day.” And it was a day, but not one like you might have expected from my first couple of sentences! We made it through all of our portraits before the ceremony with only a few droplets & after the ceremony the sun was shining! Things always have an amazing way of working themselves out.
Braden & Lauren are such a classic couple. They fit together so easily. Everyone at the wedding talked about how God has such a large hand in bringing them two together because how else could two people be so absolutely perfect for one another?
I always send out a detailed questionnaire about a month before the wedding for my brides to fill out. One of the last questions is “Describe yourself as a couple in three words.” Lauren describes her & Braden as wholehearted, blissful & blessed. Other words I would use would be wholesome…People who are pure in heart, modest, stable, virtuous & all around sweet & compassionate. Braden & Lauren, it was a pleasure to be included on your wedding day & I have loved getting to know you both as well as your sweet families. I wish you nothing but happiness for all of your days! Enjoy your blog post alllll the way in Jamaica mon! XOXO
I just love this veil shot! The wind was blowing so hard but it worked in our favor!!!
Sweetest daddy-daughter first look ever! I love Mom in the back ground.
