Dylan & Lauren’s wedding day started out like many here lately. With a big, fat chance of rain! As Derrick & I made our way to the Venue on Church street, the radar was showing heavy rain literally at the time we were suppose to start taking outdoor portraits for the day. Kurt was holding off on setting up their ceremony outside just in case it did decide to pour. We made it through the entire day without a drop of rain! Everything was beautiful, the sky was a gorgeous blue, the sun was shining….then during the middle of the ceremony it decided to rain! The rain only lasted for about 5-7 minutes & we got some pretty epic rain shots! Through all of this Dylan & Lauren had the most amazing spirits. Sure, no one wants it to rain on them while in the middle of their vows but they made the best of it! And every thing turned out perfectly! Their burgundy, navy & gold wedding was elegant, classic & trendy.
Lauren looked absolutely stunning! All of my brides glow during their engagements & bridals but there is just something different about a wedding day glow. In fact, both Dylan & Lauren’s families were radiating as well. Everyone was beaming pride as they watched the day unfold. I felt so welcomed by both sides of the family & am honored to of been a part of their special day. Currently, we are experiencing some nasty, nasty weather but Dylan & Lauren are off in Cabo enjoying sunny skies & hopefully riding a camel down a beach. Enjoy some of my favorite images from Dylan & Lauren’s special day! Thank you to everyone who helped make their day possible! XOXO
Wouldya look at that! Rain with the sun beaming in!
